Tuxedo Park Library hosts wildlife illustrator John Cameron Yrizarry on June 16

TUXEDO PARK — On Saturday, June 16, from 4 to 6 p.m., the Tuxedo Park Library will host Artist John Cameron Yrizarry for an afternoon tea as guests are welcome to enjoy displayed key pieces of his artwork that have been featured in books, nature field guides and posters commissioned by the Wildlife Conservation Society/Bronx Zoo.
Yrizarry is a longtime resident of Tuxedo, a graduate of Yale School of Fine Arts and an enthusiastic birder and nature tour guide.
He is one of America’s finest wildlife illustrators. Yrizarry is especially well known for his birds, reptiles and amphibian illustrations.
Yrizarry is an all-around naturalist and has led many birding and nature tours around the United States as well as Central and South America.
Locally, Mr. Yrizarry has led tours around Orange County for Sterling Forest Partnership, New York City Audubon and Orange County Land Trust.
