Training for teaching artists

Sugar Loaf — The Orange County Arts Council is presenting a series of workshops focussing on the training of teaching artists, with a free, introductory question-and-answer session scheduled for Monday, Oct. 18, from 7 to 8 p.m., at the Arts Council Office, located at 23 White Oak Drive in Sugar Loaf. The first class will begin on Monday, Oct. 25, with John Cimino, president and founder of The Learning Arts and Creative Leaps International, as the guide. The cost for the series is $65 for members and $95 for non-members. This program is sponsored in part through grants from Target and Stewarts Shoppes, and through a grant to Cimino from Orange County Tourism and the County of Orange.
