Quiltmaker Eda Steinman is the featured artist at Monroe Free Library

MONROE — The Monroe Free Library is featuring the artwork of quiltmaker Eda Steinman during November.
Steinman is a designer known for her use of color and the graphic qualities of her work.
She has been involved in the art of quilting since 1979, and professionally since 1984. Her quilt, “In My Father’s House,” was on long-term loan to the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky.
Her work has been published in Award Winning Quilts and Their Makers.
Steinman’s quilting articles have been published in the Traditional Quilter and Quilting International magazines. She is a charter member of the Warwick Valley Quilter’s Guild.
Steinman’s colorful and intricate creations will be on display until the end of the month.
