“The World in Monochrome,” a solo show by Artur Charukhchyan. is on display at SUNY Orange May 9 through June 12. The exhibit features photographs taken in various locations near and far which have subsequently been desaturated digitally of natural colors and processed to achieve a desired monochromatic effect of shades of limited color and hues. The outcome is quite dramatic. Charukhchyan is a self-taught photographer who enjoys taking scenic photographs while traveling around the world. He lives in Middletown and works at SUNY Orange where he is a web and database specialist in the Information and Technology Services Department. Call 341-4891 to learn more.
