'Lost in Yonkers' opens May 6

Monroe — The Playhouse at Museum Village on Route 17M in Monroe begins its 16th season with Neil Simon’s “Lost in Yonkers.” on Friday, May 6 at 8 p.m. The play is the winner of the Tony and Pulitzer prizes and is about finding one’s way through the tangled web of family relationships without losing the sense of self or sense of humor. Theater officials said as comical as it is poignant, the play is an examination of lives in an oppressive household, with a dramatic climax that is certain to leave an audience spellbound. The production is under the direction of David Mossey; Bill Schwarta is the stage manager. Tickets are $20 each, which includes dessert at intermission consisting of apple pie, ice cream, iced tea and coffee. Group rates are available and reservations are suggested.
