Hearts, minds, and great new clothes

WALLKILL-The Orange County Division of the American Heart Association will host its first annual "Go Red for Women" dinner and fashion show on Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Town of Wallkill Golf and Country Club in Middletown. Dr. Jean Hudson, Orange County Health Commissioner, will speak about women's heart health issues. Susan Goodreds of Goshen will speak about her unexpected heart condition and successful heart surgery. Models from the Margo George Talent and Modeling Agency will show casual and career fashions from local stores. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m., followed by the fashion show. Tickets are $50 per person. All proceeds will benefit women's heart health educational programs in Orange County.
