Headache? ‘Go natural' at the library

    CHESTER-The Chester Public Library is holding a series of lectures and presentations on safe, natural, and effective alternatives to common illnesses and symptoms. Mary Ann McQuillan, a licensed acupuncturist, fitness trainer, and massage therapist, will lead the sessions. All programs begin at 7 p.m. The schedule is as follows: • Oct. 12 — Natural Solutions to Digestive Problems with Oriental Medicine. Acid reflux, hiatal hernias, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, and Crohn's disease are just a few of the digestive disorders that affect over 61 million Americans each year. • Nov. 30 — Understanding Fibromyalgia: A Holistic Approach to Chronic Pain and Fatigue. People who suffer with fibromyalgia are desperate for relief from the constant, nagging pain associated with the disease. • Dec. 14 — Natural Solutions to Headache Pain — This presentation covers the different types of headaches, what causes them, how to prevent them, and treatments.
