Goshen Chabad to host Purim party at senior center

    Goshen — Chabad will host a Purim Party for the whole community on Sunday, March 20, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Goshen Senior Center, at 100 Trotter Circle in Goshen. Purim is a holiday when Jews were saved by an evil decree in Persia many years ago. Jews celebrate it by dressing up, giving gift baskets and enjoying in a large Purim feast while hearing the megillah scroll telling the full story. The event will include sports and games, lunch, Jewish music and a prize for everyone who is dressed up. A special feature will be Hoop Wizard, a basketball interactive show.
