George Kilby Jr. to perform Americana and Blues concert

    WARWICK-An evening of Americana and Blues with singer-songwriter George Kilby Jr. and his trioThe Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery and Orchards will present on Saturday, Nov. 20. Tickets are $15 if bought in advance or $18 at the door. A bistro style menu will be available from 7- 8:25 p.m. and the show will begin promptly at 8:30. George Kilby Jr. was born in Anniston, Alabama; and the sounds of the South have never left him. His original music is often called "Americana" or Roots-Rock. He is influenced by Country, Blues, Gospel, and New Orleans R & B. The band has the fire of early rock and roll with the dynamics of Classic Blues. This concert is part of a continuing series of evening concerts that the Warwick Valley Winery holds in its indoor performance room. The evening series is also an extension of the Uncorked and Unplugged Music Series, a free series which showcases local performers every Saturday and Sunday afternoon throughout the year.
