Fashion show to help soldiers call home

MIDDLETOWN-The Ladies Phi1optochos Society of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Middletown will host its 18th annual Fashion Show on Friday, Oct. 1, at the Owen Murphy Inn, located on Rt. 17M in Goshen. This year's theme is "Stars and Stripes Forever." The philanthropic society will donate a portion of the show's proceeds to benefit the "Help Our Troops Phone Home" program. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The fashions will be supplied by Catherine's of Middletown, Marlu Costumes of Port Jervis, and the Style Counsel of Warwick. Local columnist Barbara Bedell will serve as the emcee. There will be door prizes, a raffle, and a 50/50. Tickets are $35 per person and include dinner with coffee and Greek pastries.
