Exposures Gallery is Sugar Loaf has holiday open house, workshops

Sugar Loaf — On Saturday, Dec. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., Exposures Gallery in Sugar Loaf will hold a Holiday Open House, and Nick Zungoli will be signing complementary mini-prints of “Snowy Meadow.” Limited to one per visitor. The gallery’s upcoming workshops include: Digital Photo Workshop, Monday, Jan. 10: Participants spend a morning photographing in Harriman State Park and an afternoon slide show at the gallery reviewing day’s work. Great for beginners learning how to use their SLR digital camera. $195 per person includes lunch. Hudson Bread Co. workshop, Monday, Jan. 17: For photographers who want to sharpen their photojournalism skills — Nick and NY Times Travel and Leisure photographer Chris Ramirez will lead a full day shoot at Hudson Bread producing images for publication. Participants will learn portrait, still life and assignment photography using natural and studio lighting. Only a camera and tripod required. A fun aside will be an opportunity to make bread. Lunch included; fee is $295 per person. Color Printing Workshop, Monday, Jan. 24: For photographers who want to learn how to make exhibition-quality prints using Photoshop. Morning shoot at Hudson Valley location and an afternoon learning Photoshop printing at gallery. $295 per person, includes lunch, a 13×19 inch color print of your work and a signed print of Zungoli’s.
