Warwick — Vision Community Church continues its Vision Sounds Concert Series with a performance by Emish on Friday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. The evening will also feature an opening set by Warwick singer/songwriter Ava Rae Heatley. For more than a decade, members of Emish have been performing in various professional groups including anything and everything from Traditional Irish, Irish Rock, and Punk to Symphony Orchestras. Individually, they have toured as far as Europe and Japan honing their performing skills - all preparing themselves for the day that they would collectively form Emish. With their versatility and well-seasoned skills, combined with on-stage foot stomping energy and off-stage charisma, Emish has been making fans from one coast to the other. Their music includes “emishified” traditional songs and tunes with their own original compositions that creates a sound described as “Celtic Rock with an edge.” Tickets are $10 at the door. The church is located at 103 Newport Bridge Road in Warwick. For more information call 986-4333 or visit www.visiblechurch.org.
