The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is celebrating Earth Day, with a host of activities at the Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center in Cornwall on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This photo from last year shows the fun participants had. The day will include a “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” community yard sale (a 10x12 spot is $25.) Children who get their free Planet Protector Passport stamped at each booth will win a prize. Pony rides, visiting farm animals including goats, chickens, sheep and a Clydesdale horse, a nature play area and music by Lydia Adams Davis are all part of the day. All activities are free with the suggested donation of $5 per car for parking, except for the pony rides. All funds raised will support environmental education. Call 534-5506 to learn more.
