“Footloose” will take the stage at the Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts on Kings Highway in Sugar Loaf on Sunday, March 15 at 4 p.m. In 1984, the movie “Footloose,” starring Kevin Bacon, captured the heart of America. “With its youthful spirit, dazzling dance and electrifying music, Footloose’ launched a dance craze that spread across the nation,” said theater officials; it also received an Oscar nomination for its Top 40 score.
