Thanks to Tuxedo first responders, neighbors and friends
On Saturday, Dec. 3, our home in Laurel Ridge, Tuxedo, suffered a devastating fire. Our dream home was consumed in about one hour. Thankfully, my wife Lynn and I were out celebrating her birthday. Normally, our two beautiful grand kids, Francesa and John, would have been in their rooms that were enveloped in a raging fire. Our neighbors called in the fire and local companies made a valiant effort to extinguish the blaze. Although our home was destroyed, no other homes were damaged and the beautiful forest also was not harmed. I want to express our deepest thanks and respect for all who helped us that night. Tuxedo police and our volunteer firefighters are exceptional, sacrificing for others everyday. They epitomize the true spirit of community service, helping people they don’t even know. I was told that there were no injuries, the real blessing in this tragedy. Thanks for all you did for us. We eagerly look forward to rebuilding our home and our life in this wonderful community. Sincerely, Ken English and Carolyn Kelly Tuxedo
