Neil Dwyer has 'the honest dependability and passion for our community'
My husband and I have known Neil Dwyer for many years. When we first met we were working on putting together a huge picnic for our kids school. From coordinating our outdoor electricity to the donation of a DJ and authentic Italian Ices from the Bronx - our picnic was “the best ever” to quote the parents and staff. And it was Neil’s immeasurable contributions which made our picnic a vast success! You better believe that I have tagged Neil for the picnic committee every year since, regardless of the fact that his son graduated over 4 years ago - and he keeps coming back to help us out. You see, Neil has a strong work ethic that is deeply ingrained in his soul. It is rare to find a person who is as reliable, conscientious, and hard-working as Neil Dwyer. When Neil takes on a task, there is no need to wonder if it will come to fruition. His follow through is assured and quality is never a casualty in his work. Among my favorite traits of Neil, one that I noticed from the first time we were introduced, is his incredible focus. When you have a conversation with Neil, there is nothing more important to him than the discussion at that moment. He listens intently and moreover he hears and retains those conversations. We could be in a room filled with hundreds of people and 100% of Neil’s attention is given to the individual he is speaking with. Furthermore, Neil is a philanthropist - a value that is as natural to him as breathing. He donates his time, his money, even his blood, sweat, and tears to many organizations in our community including Our Father’s Kitchen and Our Mother’s Cupboard - two recent additions to Monroe which are both helping dozens of families who are struggling in our turbulent economic condition. All those years ago, when Neil and I were brought together by that common thread which is the love of our children and their school - I never could have foretold the amazing friend I would make. He is driven by the love he has for his family, his faith and the determination to make Monroe the best place in the country to live and raise a family. But it is Neil’s undeniable dedication, his honest dependability and his passion for our community that will make him the next member of the Monroe Town Council. Yours faithfully, Beth Zeman Monroe
