| 23 Feb 2012 | 03:44

My name is Mary Ellen F. Beams and I would like to announce that I am the endorsed candidate for the Republican, Conservative and Independence Parties for the position of Town Clerk for the Town of Monroe. I have proudly served the Monroe residents as Town Clerk since 2005; prior to that I served as Deputy Town Clerk since 2002. As a resident of Monroe for 47 years, married with six children and one grandchild, I have always been actively involved in our community: A member of American Legion Post 488 Auxiliary, Mombasha Ladies Auxiliary and past President of Lakeside Ladies Auxiliary, Sacred Heart Parents Board and Pop Warner Cheerleading Coach. I have the valuable experience and knowledge in handling a multitude of tasks in the Town Clerk’s office: recording town meeting minutes, issuing marriage, hunting, and dog licenses, maintaining historical significance of all Town records, managing all records, F.O.I.L Officer and Notary. I am committed to continue serving as a vital link between the public and local government of the Town of Monroe. Please make your vote count by voting for the most experienced and qualified for town clerk, on Nov. 8. Vote for Mary Ellen F. Beams. Thank you. Mary Ellen F. Beams Monroe Town Clerk
