MaryEllen Beams is 'an experienced and competent Town Clerk'

The community has in MaryEllen Beams not only a caring and compassionate person, but an experienced and competent Town Clerk. I support her wholeheartedly in her bid for re-election. There are many things that have been said about her that are not true. One stands out in my mind and I would like the public to know that the court records that are under her control have always been under lock and key in the basement of Town Hall. It has been that way since before I ever became involved. The Clerk is the official keeper of records and MaryEllen takes this job very seriously. She is close to completion on a project of upgrading the security of all the Town records in a fashion acceptable to New York State standards and additionally, makes them easier to access for the public. This is not something new and has been ongoing as part of the responsibility she has felt to do her job properly. Please give her your consideration. The Town needs continuity in this position.
