Dear Town of Monroe residents and Food Truck Festival attendees:
The Town of Monroe was pleased to host another Food Truck Festival on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Orange and Rockland Park in Monroe. Not only was this a day full of wonderful food choices and craft vendors, it also allowed us to feature the beautiful O&R Property owned by the Town of Monroe.
Adding to the day’s festivities was an art show hosted by the Monroe Art Society featuring local artists. There were also several artists painting the scenery “live,” giving attendees a unique opportunity to view the tremendous talent of our local artists firsthand.
We would like to thank our residents, as well as our local community members for their support of this event. We are especially grateful to our event sponsor, M&T Bank.
We are appreciative of the team effort put forth to ensure the success of this event and would like to thank the following people: Councilman Sal Scancarello, Ann Marie Morris, Director of the Monroe Senior Center and Department Head for Town of Monroe Parks, Town of Monroe Highway Department, Town of Monroe Maintenance Staff, Dial-A-Bus, Village of Monroe Police Department, Fire Police, John Battaglia and the Monroe Art Society and Frank DeGennaro.
In addition, we extend our thanks to Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus, Orange County Sherriff’s Department, Jim Bakun of the Orange County Office of Emergency Management, John Scherne, Town of Monroe Highway Superintendent, Village of Monroe Mayor Neil Dwyer, Village of Harriman Mayor Steve Welle, Town of Blooming Grove Supervisor Rob Jeroloman and Village of South Blooming Grove Mayor Jim LoFranco.
As always, our event emcee, Johnny Ciao made the day fun and entertaining.
