Playing ‘telephone’

I write this letter not to support any candidate but to ask the voters in the Monroe-Woodbury school district to take a step back and separate fact from fiction and truths from rumors.

When I was a child we played a game called “telephone.” You would get five or six children together in a line. The first child would whisper a statement into the second child’s ear and each child would follow suit.

By the time the sixth child repeated the original statement, it was totally different than anything the first child ever said.

Our community seems to be playing “telephone.”
