‘Our village will miss Frank Eppinger’s efforts on our behalf’

It was disheartening for me to see Frank Eppinger replaced on the Monroe Village Board of trustees in our recent election.

Frank was an independent, hard-working trustee who worked for all the taxpayers.

The predicted low voter turnout enables anyone with enough family, friends and co-workers to garner enough votes to unseat a relatively unknown, but efficient trustee who was instrumental in keeping our tax increases to a minimum.

I and our village will miss Frank Eppinger’s efforts on our behalf.

The voters have spoken: All 668 or 13.9 percent out of 47947 registered voters.
