Monroe Village Justice Strauss announces re-election bid
As the Village of Monroes currently sitting justice, I write to announce my candidacy for re-election to that position on March 20.
Four years ago, after re-implementing our new courts operations, you elected me to a full four-year term as village justice. The core of my campaign platform was a pledge to continue running our court fairly and efficiently while expanding its role as a force for good in our community.
I am pleased to report that I have kept every promise and pledge made four years ago. Litigants who come before the Monroe Village Justice Court find an efficiently run judicial operation that uses cutting edge technology to provide prompt, fair and unbiased access to justice in this jurisdiction.
Our court is also more than just an adjudicative office and it serves as a community resource for teaching students, scouts and other citizens and community groups about our legal system.
It would be my honor and privilege to continue these good works during a second term as your village justice. Thus, I write to humbly ask that you take a few minutes to stop and chat when you see me in the neighborhood and that you vote to Keep Strauss in the Monroe Village Courthouse on March 20.
Respectfully, Forrest Strauss
