Melinda Gormley has the perspective a true Monroe native

I am writing in support of Melinda MacDonald Gormley, a Village Trustee running for re-election on March 20.

I have known the MacDonald family and Melinda since her elementary school years. She is a Village of Monroe native and when she and her husband Michael married, they remained residents of the village.

Melinda has been active in our community from her beginning years with the Girl Scouts, as an EMT and active volunteer with the Monroe Ambulance and other activities, including raising her children.

Melinda has always been honest and fair whether at the board table or at home with family and friends. This busy young lady has brought a spark of youth to the table and has been able to provide not only the visions of a younger generation but the perspective as seen by a true Monroe native: One who has witnessed the growth and changes that have occurred over the last 35 years.

I highly support Melinda in her quest to maintain her seat on the Monroe Village Board.
