Irene Conklin is ‘passionate, hard-working and knowledgeable’

I am writing this letter in support of Irene Conklin and her run for Village of Monroe Trustee.

As presidents of the unions representing the support staff of the Monroe-Woodbury CSD, we have worked diligently to preserve jobs in the school district. We have worked together with administration and the board, offering cost-saving ideas in these tough economic times.

Irene has, most recently, negotiated a contract that is fair to both the members of her bargaining unit and the tax payers in the district.

While working with Irene over the past several years, I have come to know her personally. She is passionate, hard-working and knowledgeable. I’ve see her in action and she works hard and corroboratively to achieve what she believes is the best for all concerned. As a lifelong resident of the Village of Monroe, she has seen the changes in the village and will work to bring it back to the thriving, beautiful place the residents deserve.

On March 20, I encourage all residents to vote for Irene Conklin, Village of Monroe Trustee. You won’t be disappointed.
