I writing this letter in support of John M. Karl III for Monroe Village Trustee.
In addition to knowing John for 40 years, I was fortunate to work directly for him as Highway Superintendent when was Mayor of Monroe from 2006-2010, also when he was trustee from 2004-2006.
John Karl knows what makes a village tick. His decisions were always based on real facts and data collection, never self-serving.
My entire family have served on the MFC and will never forget John’s humanitarian efforts for our bother firefighters. Assisting Kenny Marino’s family with Fire Company after 9/11 with addition on house. As Chief five years, Assistant Chief for 10 years. Assist brother fireman Karl Martin, who had no family, getting accepted into the Firemen’s Home in Hudson - and kept his word handling Karl funeral arrangements along with Tom Sullivan, upon his passing.
I personally saw how John managed the daily responsibility of working with case workers and caregivers to insure that Karl Martin received the best of care.
If you believe there is a block vote in the Village - it’s not United Monroe anymore - it’s the “other” block vote that is growing every day. So please, vote for “JK” if you hope to retain any control over our village lifestyle.
