Colin Schmitt is ready to do the job from day one

The following is a statement from the Colin Schmitt NYS Assembly campaign:
Colin Schmitt is currently fulfilling his service obligation to our state and nation during Army National Guard annual training. He is confident that his grassroots campaign that helped secure four ballot lines and set a fundraising record will continue to work towards victory regardless of what candidate the democrats had yesterday, have today or will have on Election Day.
We appreciate the many local supporters and neighbors who have joined together to make Colin’s the strongest Assembly campaign in the State. Seniors, veterans, students, union members, hard working families, small business owners and local residents of all backgrounds support Colin Schmitt and his mission to reform Albany, defend our Hudson Valley Values, deliver our fair share from state government to invest in our schools and ease property taxes, fight the heroin epidemic, lead the fight against systemic welfare abuse, defend our natural resources and ensure that no community receives special treatment over another, but that we all have equal treatment, protection and respect to live our lives.
Colin’s record and experience, as Chief-of-Staff in the Town of New Windsor, a member of the Army National Guard and previously director of operations of the NYS Senate Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs, show that he is ready to do this job on day one.
