‘Big shows to fill’

| 02 Apr 2012 | 12:57

I would like to take a moment to recognize Mr. Frank Eppinger for his many years of dedicated service to the Village of Monroe.

As the newly elected trustee, I am very aware of the long hours and hard work Mr. Eppinger has put in.

I want to say to Frank, your concerns for the village need not stop, but rather use this time as a catalyst to work on the other side of the podium. Your ideas and thoughts still are important to the village.

As I said to you at your last meeting, I have big shoes to fill, and hope you are available to talk with.

To all the residence of the Village of Monroe, I thank you for this opportunity. It will truly be an honor to serve you and the village.

I encourage you all to come to a meeting and get involved. I will continue to walk door to door and talk to each of you, as I have started this endeavor already. I care about what you want for our village, and will try to convey your concerns to all the members of the board.

Please feel free to contact me at trustee.conklin@frontier.com .

Thank you again for your vote of confidence.
