Building a beautiful world from little plastic bricks isn't easy, but Nick Marino and Kaitlin Evans were are up to the challenge. They were the winners in the Monroe Free Library's annual Lego building contest. Nick (above), who is 10 and lives in Monroe, created three imaginative "Stars Wars" works with the Legos. Kaitlin (left), who is 6 and also lives in Monroe, created a fantasy castle complex she called "the Prince of Bel Air." (Photos provided by the Susan O'Neill at the Monroe Free Library)
