Woodbury Public Library announces fall calendar of activities
Highland Mills The following is a list of upcoming programs for all ages at the Woodbury Public Library: Fall story times for ages 6 months through pre-school begin the first week of October. Come in to either branch of the library for the schedule and to sign up. Drop-in story time for ages two to three and a half takes place at the Highland Mills branch on Friday at 9:30 a.m. beginning Oct. 14. No registration necessary. Siblings welcome. Monster Month with spooky stories, crafts and games for children in Kindergarten and Grade 1 on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. begins on Oct. 4. Call 928-2114 to sign up. International Observe the Moon Night, Saturday, Oct. 8 ,from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the Central Valley Branch. Bring the family and join the fun learning about the moon and participating in activities which will include lunar handouts, a phases of the moon activity and a lunar viewing to end the night (weather permitting). Dress warmly and feel free to bring your own binoculars or telescopes. Call 928-2114 to sign up. Space limited.
