Highland Mills - The Woodbury Town Clerk’s Office announced this week it now accepts credit cards to pay for dog licenses, marriage licenses, garage sale permits, hunting and fishing licenses and any other fees that are collected by the Town Clerk’s office. Visa, MasterCard and Discover will be accepted. A convenience fee is charged to the customer based on the transaction total (minimum fee is $1.50) so there is no cost to the Town of Woodbury for this service. “It is something we have been asked about regularly, especially for hunting licenses and false alarm fines” said Town Clerk Desiree Potvin. Payment for town and county taxes by credit card will begin in January 2012.
