Woodbury Lions offer scholarships

Woodbury — The Woodbury Lions Club offers two $500 scholarships each year to current high school seniors. Recipients must be graduating seniors living in the town of Woodbury who have overcome a handicapping condition such as a physical handicap or a personal obstacle such as a learning disability. The scholarship awards honor the memory of all deceased members of the Woodbury Lions Club who gave of their time and energy to the community. Application forms and instructions are available from the guidance offices at the Monroe-Woodbury, Cornwall, and John S. Burke Catholic High Schools. For further information, call 928-2691.
