Woodbury hosts electronics collection program next month
Highland Mills - The Town of Woodbury has scheduled its first electronics collections days for businesses on Friday, Aug. 5, and for residents on Saturday, Aug. 6. This event will be held at the highway garage (County Route 105, behind town hall). Business collections will be take place on Aug. 5 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. All businesses must call 858-8809 prior to Aug. 5 to register and complete a Form C-7 with the carter. The residential collections will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The items that will be accepted include computers, monitors, TVs, laptops, servers, printers, keyboards, mice, VCRs, batteries, cell phones, terminals, cables, wires, power supplies, fax machines, radios, modems, corded and cordless telephones, copiers, scanners, cassette, CD and DVD players, typewriters and stereo equipment. “White goods” such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, etc., will not be accepted.
