What makes Monroe special

To the editor: Savemonroe would like to take this opportunity to thank Temple Eitz Chiam, Chris Mele Editor of the Times Herald-Record and The Photo News for making the Village of Monroe Candidate Question and Answer forum possible. We would also like to thank the candidates for taking time out of their busy schedules to answer questions from the public they wish to serve. A special thank you to the many community members that attended this forum. The trustee and mayoral election was a non-partisan election. It seemed fitting that Savemonroe, which is an organization that crosses all party lines and whose members are from both the town and the village of Monroe, was host to this important event.
