Web site to help displaced students

Washington, D.C. —"Hurricane Help for Schools," www.ed.gov/katrina, is a new website aimed at getting additional supplies to students displaced by hurricane Katrina. The website serves as a clearinghouse for individuals, schools, companies, and organizations that want to help. Schools that are taking students in will post their contact information and the supplies they need for the new students. Companies and organizations can contact the schools directly or post what supplies and resources they can offer.
