Warwick Valley Humane Society sponsoring dog photo contest
WARWICK - The Warwick Valley Humane Society is looking for the perfect photo of a picture perfect pooch. Everyone is invited to enter the “Dog Photo Contest” for a chance to win great prizes in three categories: Best Puppy (under one year old at time of photo), Best Overall Photo (any age) and Best Senior Photo (10 years or older). The entry fee is $10 with all proceeds benefiting the Warwick Valley Humane Society. Photos will be on display for voting by people attending the 6th Annual “Who Let the Dogs Out?” fundraiser to be held at the Applewood Winery at 11 a.m. on June 11 (raindate June 12). “Obviously I’m in the senior category,” said Shelter alumnus Rocket. “This is what we do.” Contest Rules 4X6 photo only No humans in photos - dogs only. Include the following information on the back of the photo: dog’s name, owner’s name, address and phone, category you wish to enter. Please be advised that the photos will not be returned to you. Winners chosen by majority vote in each category.
