Two more cups of coffee for the road

MONROE-Get those commuter cups ready - two more Dunkin' Donut shops are coming to town - one in Monroe - the other in Woodbury. The donut shop will hook up with Union State Bank at a new mini-mall to be built on the recently demolished site adjacent to Monroe Ford on Route 17M. While waiting for the Orange County Health Department approval, developer Art Tully has asked the town for its approval of the project. The county approval is required because Dunkin' Donuts is a food service and therefore the water at the site must be tested and approved by the health department. Tully offered to post a bond so the project can get underway as soon as possible. Now, the ball is in the town's hands and a decision is expected soon. The Woodbury store, already under construction, is located at the entrance to the Kohl's Shopping Center on Route 17.
