Tuxedo reschedules town board meetings

Tuxedo - Starting Feb. 13, the regular bi-monthly meetings of the Tuxedo Town Board meetings will be held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. or on the following Tuesday when a holiday occurs on Monday. Previously the meetings were held on the first and third Monday of each month. Town Clerk office open late Monroe - The Monroe Town Clerk’s Office will be open until 7:30 p.m. on the following dates: • Jan. 12 and 26. • Feb. 2 and 16. • March 9 and 23. • April 6 and 20. • May 4 and 18. • June 1 and 15. Tax collecting in Monroe Monroe - Town of Monroe Receiver of Taxes William H. Bollenbach will be collecting taxes at 15 Lake St., Monroe (next to M & T Bank) during January from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Taxes also may be mail to PO Box 444, Monroe, N.Y. 10949. Payments may be made during the February; a 1 percent penalty will be added. Payments made during March carry a 2 percent penalty. Unpaid taxes will be returned to the Orange County Commissioner of Finance by April 3.
