At the May meeting of the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce, the chamber recognized retiring Tuxedo Park School Headmaster Jim Burger’s participation in the community for the past 17 years. Bob Thompson (in back) thanked Jim for his “steady and quiet leadership” and his wisdom in many chamber matters over the years. Chamber President Bill Sweet (on left) presented Burger with a sketch and plaque engraved with the words, “Presented with gratitude to James T. Burger for your selfless service and hard work for the Tuxedo business community and the Chamber of Commerce from July 1994 - July 2011. Best of luck!” For more information about the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce, visit www.tuxedochamber.org/home. Photo provided by Ellen Zahren Calves
