Town to host reception for retiring town clerk

MONROE-The Town of Monroe will host a "covered dish" reception in honor of Town Clerk Judy Dise on Sunday, June 12, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Senior Center on Mine Road. Dise will retire June 30 from the job she has has held for the last 25 years. She and her husband John will be moving to Tusten in Sullivan County where they are building a new home near to their children. Those who choose to may bring a covered dish to share and to visit with Dise and the many friends she has made in Monroe.
