Town of Tuxedo hosts electronic recycling day this Saturday

TUXEDO — Town of Tuxedo will hold an electronic recycling day for Tuxedo for residents and businesses tomorrow, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The staging area will be in the parking lot of the Tuxedo Town Hall on Temple Drive. Businesses and residents can drop off used and unwanted electronic equipment for recycling. Items accepted include: monitors, printers, keyboards, VCRs, batteries, cell phones, terminals, cables, fax machines, radios, modems, CRTs, telephones, TVs, CPUs, copiers, typewriters and stereo equipment. Air-conditioners also are accepted for a $20 disposal fee. Business need to pre-register by calling Frank Funicella at 858-8809 to fill out proper forms for disposal.
