    Monroe —Museum Village's 30th annual Civil War Weekend, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3 and 4, will feature New York State's largest re-enactment. Visitors will stroll through camps of historically authentic soldiers clad in blue and gray for a glimpse of life in the 19th century both on the battlefield and off. The hours of the encampment are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, with a behind-the-scenes tour scheduled for Saturday evening at 7 p.m. Admission to Civil War Weekend is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The Saturday evening tour costs $8 for adults and $3 for children. Museum Village members are admitted free of charge. The museum is located on Route 17M in Monroe.
