To the editor: On Oct. 5, our daughter had a serious accident on School Road in Monroe. When my husband and I arrived at the scene, it was terrifying. The number of emergency vehicles and personnel, as well as a look at the car, made it hard to believe that no one was fatally injured. We would like to thank the State Police, Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Squad, Emergency Room staff at Arden Hill, Superior Towing and the gentleman who lives on School Road whose name we did not get. Thanks to your kindness and concern, as well as your quick response, my daughter and her friends received excellent care in a calm, supportive atmosphere. We’d also like to thank you for your patience and support with us, as we came on to a scene that no parent should ever have to see. Not only are these ladies and gentlemen professionals, but they are caring and concerned people as well. Please support these services, volunteer and otherwise, for without them I don’t know where we’d be. You all have our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation. Sincerely, Lisa and Don Nazzaro Central Valley
