Monroe — TEC International, the world’s largest CEO membership organization, has changed its name to Vistage International. The company’s group chairs are Philip Liebman and Robert Duncan, both of Monroe, who both have more than 25 years of senior-level business experience. According to Liebman, “The Vistage name better articulates the benefits provided to its members, by combining the words ‘vista’ and ‘advantage.’ Our members gain the valuable advantage of a broader outlook, and the ability to see more clearly from the higher ground provided by the experiences and insights of other business leaders, top experts and trained coaches. Vistage members give and share advice, support and knowledge, with no vested interest beyond helping each other succeed.” Vistage, founded in 1957, has more than 12,000 members in 15 countries, and is growing rapidly. The group chairs are former CEOs who have become executive coaches and facilitators. They facilitate local groups, of up to 16 business owners and CEOs from non-competing small to mid-size companies. Duncan noted, “This is a strictly confidential, high-impact forum, where members meet monthly to exchange ideas, solve tough problems, share resources, and achieve greater balance and success as leaders. The results are better, more strategic decisions, more innovative ideas and solutions, and substantial personal and business growth.” Vistage members receive personal coaching from their group chair and a proprietary Internet-driven gateway to a worldwide community. A global business network serves to broaden members’ perspectives and provides unparalleled access to a concentration of subject matter expertise and best practices, with access to the full membership of over 12,000 senior executives worldwide, and to a comprehensive library of best practices specifically tailored to the needs of small and mid-market businesses. Vistage members run companies with annual sales between $1 million and $1 billion. They generate nearly $300 billion in annual revenue, and have more than 2.1 million employees around the world. Nearly 300 member business men and women in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New York Metropolitan Area are active members, and represent industries from service and manufacturing, to finance and real estate. Membership is exclusively by invitation. For more information, call 782-0178, or visit www.vistage.com.
