Supporting Sullivan for Woodbury town board

| 21 Feb 2012 | 11:18

To the editor: Henry Sullivan, a 34-year resident of Woodbury, has served his country in the U.S Air Force, served the City of New York for 30 years with the NYPD, and he is an outstanding citizen and devoted family man. We now need him as a town councilman. He is a proven leader as exhibited by serving on the Patrolman’s Benevolent Association for 27 of his 30 years, with 12 of those 27 years on the Executive Board of the PBA. Spending the last few years familiarizing himself with the inner workings of our town, Henry is well aware of the problems and concerns confronting us. Being a team player he knows what it takes to make quality decisions for the town. His keen analytical skills and abilities will help put our town in the forefront in the areas of open government, fiscal responsibility and help create a Town Board Citizens Advisory Committee. He will focus his time and energy on the issues this town has with growth, traffic and help push for a fair proportion of the sales tax revenue generated by the Woodbury Common. We need all his skills and that’s why Henry needs our vote on Nov. 8. Eugene J. Heppes Highland Mills
