Supporting Reveille in Woodbury
To the editor: I strongly endorse Darleen Reveille as Town Councilwoman for Woodbury. I’ve known Darleen for more than 15 years and she is bright, honest and forthright. She has a keen commitment to Woodbury and is fighting to save our neighborhood as we know it. Darleen has many years of nursing experience and is currently employed as a public health nurse. She responds to community needs and provides input and advice in matters pertaining to community issues. She fights hard for what is right, is loyal and has strong leadership qualities. We cannot change our zoning laws to allow developers to increase the number of homes built so they can profit. Our schools can’t handle the increase. The taxes we recoup will not match the monies needed to support the schools and only one thing can happen - taxes will go up and schools will be more overcrowded. In addition, traffic on Ninninger is horrendous, and the proposed development includes only one entrance and exit on Ninninger. What will that do to congestion and pollution? If we change our zoning laws, we are laying the groundwork for additional high-density housing. Darleen will fight to keep our community intact. Grace Gerard Central Valley
