Supporting Karl and Lesser

To the editor: I’m writing in support of John Karl and Charles Lesser for Village of Monroe mayor and trustee, respectively. John has kept his word to try and make the necessary changes in the manner in which village government was to be run. Unfortunately, both he and fellow Trustee Maneri, who were overwhelmingly elected last election, have been constantly on the short end of a 3-2 vote, to Mancuso, Peifer and Remo. We have a choice this coming election. Vote for John Karl and Charles Lesser and continue to make the changes to protect us here in the village, or put back an incumbent who has been on the board for the past eight years with two new cohorts to keep a status quo. Let’s elect those who will take care of us — the village, and not themselves. Let’s elect those who will allow for open government and public comment - which has disappeared under the current representatives. We need elected officials who will demand responsibility and accountability and will work to better our community. We need to elect John Karl And Charles Lesser, who are men of integrity and honesty who will work for all of us. Make your vote count on March 21. Jeanette Haug Monroe
