Support for Ferguson for village trustee

To the editor: May I take this opportunity to whole-heartedly endorse Scott Ferguson for Village of Monroe Trustee. Although the name Scott Ferguson may not be easily recognized at the moment, it is not for the lack of hard work. Scott has held the position of Town of Monroe accountant for the past nine years. He has successfully accomplished the enormous task of balancing the books as well as providing financial stability to the town. Scott is an extremely well-organized and detail-oriented worker who understands that our village needs a financial plan for the next 5-10 years. It is crucial that Monroe continue its growth with smart planning and fiscal responsibility, and Scott has a plan for just that. As a father of two school-aged children, Scott also recognizes the desperate need for more recreational facilities, especially for those of middle school and high school age levels. There is not anyone I would trust more with my hard-earned tax dollars than Scott Ferguson, and therefore, I strongly urge that you vote Scott Ferguson for village trustee on March 21.
