WARWICK - Style Counsel and its neighboring shop, Blue, 19-22 Main St. in Warwick, will not only offer a fashion show at Winslow Therapeutic Center’s 36th anniversary Denim and Diamonds Gala, but they will custom design denim outfits for anyone planning to attend. On Saturday evening, Nov. 20, Winslow Therapeutic Center, will host a Denim and Diamonds Gala fund raiser at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club at 206 Smith Clove Road in Central Valley. The gala will feature a cash bar and dinner, served with complimentary wine or beer, and dancing to the music of 18-time Grammy winner Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra. Winslow is a not for profit Hippotherapy and Therapeutic Riding Center that offers unique and often life-changing horseback riding experiences for children and adults with special needs. “When we were asked to do a fashion show for Winslow’s Gala,” said Style Counsel/Blue co-owner Tim Mullally, “we thought it would be a good idea to also offer custom denim designs for the guests. And we have just the person to do that, Maureen Morgese. She is from this area and happens to be a well known and very skilled seamstress.” He explained that Morgese is a technician who had worked with the famous Spanish fashion designer, Fernando Sanchez, until his death in 2006. “She will help you create anything in denim from a skirt or slacks to an evening gown,” added Mullally’s partner Bob Maxwell.
