St. Patrick's youth group sponsors hurricane benefit

    HIGHLAND MILLS-The CYO Youth Group at St. Patrick's Church is Highland Mills is sponsoring two events in the coming weeks, including a benefit to help people affected by Hurricane Katrina. The first is Mardi Gras Madness on Friday, Sept. 30, from 7 to 11 p.m., in the St. Patrick's gym for grades 8-12. There will be masks, dancing, food, drinks, beads and music by D.J. Art Santana. The admission charge is $7. All money will be donated to disaster victims in New Orleans through the Sisters of the Presentation. On Friday, Oct. 14, the St. Patrick's CYO Youth Group is sponsoring a concert with Rhyme4Reason at 7:30 p.m. The hip hop concert is for young and old music lovers; free will offering will support the music ministry.
