MONROE — The Monroe-Woodbury Little League Senior District All star team won the District 19 senior title, the oldest level of District 19 play.
The championship game was played July 10 at Smithclove Park against a strong team from Wallkill Area.
"The athletes on this team have played Little League since they were in T-ball and for most of them this was their last season to play in the district tournament," said manager Sean Bermingham. "This was a great way for them to end their little league experience as champions."
